Huaka'i Luau - Journey Through Polynesia will be reopening at the award-winning Seascape Restaurant Overlooking Ma'alaea Bay next to the Maui Ocean Center in Maui, Hawaii. The show starts its weekly schedule beginning November 3, 2021, and will continue every Sunday and Wednesday night. The show will have an expanded performance schedule during the 2021 Christmas and New Year’s holiday week.

This is a show not to miss! Enjoy an evening of entertainment where you can feast on traditional Hawaiian food and enjoy a wonderful luau show which tells the story of how our ancestors traveled through Polynesia from Samoa 5,000 years ago. Safe Access Maui
The City and County of Maui's "Safe Access Maui" program need all guests 12 years of age and older to offer evidence of an approved COVID-19 full vaccination or authorized negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of entry, in addition to legitimate picture identification, to get in dining establishments, bars, luaus and other locations of home entertainment, throughout Maui. This also affects a lot of our resort and island activities. Children under the age of 12 are exempt.
Every Sunday and Wednesday evenings, our luau pays homage to our journey through the Polynesian islands and how hula, luau, and our culture came about.
Before luaus, there was 'Aha'aina-- a feast of food, mele (tune), and hula. In ancient times the Hawaiian people came together to commemorate special events, these events were called 'Aha'aina (which translates to gathering for a meal). Ma'alaea Harbor is on gorgeous premises and we have produced a modern, yet timeless Luau to honor the land and ocean with our marvelous history through food, story-talk, hula, and culture-- a real celebration of Huaka'i and our heritage.
Our Luau will follow all existing federal government social distancing and gathering requirements. Presently tables will vary in size from 2 to 10 individuals from the very same party/household. Masks are required at all times other than while seated at your table. Dinner is served as a buffet.
